Why do Play Boy playmates wear bunny lingerie for their halloween costume? It seems to get boring and plain when you see the same people wearing the same halloween costumes over and over again. I think it would be funny if these sexy playmates would wear a turtle halloween costumes, or a dog halloween costumes instead of just the plain bunny. The play boy bunny halloween costumes is played out and old and is losing its touch. We know that the playboy bunny is iconic and has been know for decades across the world, but with stiffer competition with other adult magazines and the explosion of the internet, the play boy bunny needs to be reinvented into something more than Hugh Hefner and hot girls parading around in skimpy bunny outfits. In time Hugh Hefner will die, and what will take his place besides Play Mates? As important as the bunny, Hugh Hefner will not get any younger. Reinvention is good for brands, and with play boy a new bunny needs to be created and not just for longevity sake. Playboy needs a new moniker that doesn’t involve Hugh Hefner or the bunny symbol. I recommend a less sexual mascot, perhaps another animal or just a symbol.
